This is a very nice piece. Görlitz is a town on the German-Polish border that was turned over to the Poles in 1945. Upon Einigkeit part of it was turned BACK over to Germany. They commissioned Meissen to make this medallion for tourists to show they went there. It is in very nice condition. It is approx. 5 cm in diameter and 3 mm thick. CLICK THE IMAGES TO SEE THEM BETTER.
